Case Studies of Jobs Performed in the Buffalo, NY Area
(Buffalo, New York) –When a man killed himself in his Buffalo apartment, the landlord called in Aftermath to assist with the cleanup. In the kitchen, technicians cleaned and sanitized all surfaces, and disposed of the towels in a red biohazard bag. Then they moved onto the bedroom, where a team of crew members disassembled the mattress, removing and disposing of impacted layers as medical waste. An area of affected carpet was also removed.
All personal property in the bedroom was checked for biohazard fluids, and non-affected items were placed in black bags for the victim’s family. Finally, the team completed a three-step biowash, cleaning, disinfecting and deodorizing the space. To give the property owner additional peace of mind, Aftermath provided him a certificate of treatment, stating that the apartment was safe for future occupants.
