Last week, Director Vanessa Z Chan visited Sandia National Laboratories to announce the selections of the Fiscal Year 2024 Technology Commercialization Fund (TCF) CLIMR lab call. The selections represent over $41 million in federal funding going to support 50 innovative projects across 17 National Labs. This announcement was monumental as it marks the highest funding to be announced in the history of TCF Base as well as the largest number of participating U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) program offices. 🌍🌱 Dr. Chan and Mary Monson Senior Manager for Technology Partnerships and Business Development at Sandia, shared remarks which were followed by a panel of local experts. The panel discussed the impact of TCF Base’s past projects within their local community in Albuquerque, and the community’s hope for continued involvement in the future. Additionally, OTT’s 2024 Technology Commercialization Interns attended the event for the opportunity to network with DOE leaders and to share in this pivotal milestone in #techtransfer at DOE. Thank you, Sandia National Lab for hosting, event attendees for joining, and congratulations to all selected project awardees! 🔗https://bit.ly/3KWchmc#CleanEnergy #Innovation #DOE #TechCommercialization #Interns #STEM
