Rachel Leviss reverts to high school nickname at music festival (2024)

As she heals from Scandoval, Rachel 'Raquel' Leviss is getting back in touch with her inner teenager.

The Vanderpump Rules alum, 29, temporarily reclaimed her high school nickname as she donned a cowboy chic look for Lightning in a Bottle festival in Buena Vista Lake, California.

'Day [two] of @libfestival I embraced the name Rocky,' she wrote on Instagram with photos of the look.

'Close friends used to call me Rocky back in high school,' added Leviss. 'It felt suiting for the weekend. What do we think?'

She wore a funky t-shirt printed with mushrooms and the words: 'Treat people with love and kindness.'

Leviss tucked the shirt into a gold belt and pink sparkling mesh skirt that revealed a pair of black underwear.

The Rachel Goes Roguepodcast host accessorized with a pair of white cowboy boots and a pink Stetson with a matching cross-body purse.

She completed the festival look with some jewels around her eyes, while carrying a straw fan.

Leviss previously focused on some wellness as she attended a yoga class at the festival, sharing a photo of her tree pose.

The retreat comes after a judge ruled that Leviss can move forward with her revenge p*rn lawsuit against ex and former VPR co-star Tom Sandoval, according to Rolling Stone.

On Friday, the Los Angeles County Superior Court judge found that Leviss' lawsuit adequately alleged her assumption that her intimate FaceTime conversations with Sandoval, 40, were 'contemporaneous' and 'confidential.'

Although she was aware she could be recorded, the judge gave merit to the idea that Leviss trusted Sandoval not to save the footage or make copies.

Her attorney Bryan Freedman told People in a statement, 'We are pleased with the Court's order, which recognizes that recording someone in sexually compromising ways without her consent violates California law.

'We will be moving forward aggressively to vindicate Rachel's rights,' added Freedman.

Leviss' lawyer Mark Geragos gave his own statement to the outlet. 'If Sandoval's illegal recording isn't an invasion of privacy then there is nothing that is private,' he said.

Geragos continued, 'The Judge decisively ruled that Rachel's rights and privacy were violated as alleged and we obviously agree.'

After her affair with Sandoval was made public on season 10 of the Bravo reality series last year, Leviss accused Sandoval of recording an intimate FaceTime conversation without her consent.

In February, Leviss filed a lawsuit against Sandoval and his ex Ariana Madix for 'revenge p*rn, eavesdropping and invasion of privacy.'

The legal complaint rehashed the details of Scandoval, noting that it made Leviss 'one of the most hated women in America.'

'Lost in the mix was that Leviss was a victim of the predatory and dishonest behavior of an older man, who recorded sexually explicit videos of her without her knowledge or consent, which were then distributed, disseminated, and discussed publicly by a scorned woman seeking vengeance, catalyzing the scandal,' the lawsuit read.

'Leviss ultimately checked herself into a mental health facility and remained there for three months while Bravo, Evolution, and the cast milked the interest her excoriation had peaked.'

She claimed that she was misled to believe that she was 'contractually barred from speaking out about her mistreatment,' leaving her to suffer in silence while Bravo and her co-stars reaped the benefits.

'Meanwhile, Leviss, who was humiliated and villainized for public consumption, remains a shell of her former self, with her career prospects stunted and her reputation in tatters,' the lawsuit added.

Leviss was involved in a months-long affair with Sandoval, which came to light while filming season 10 of Vanderpump Rules, ending his nine-year relationship with Madix, 38.

Madix found out about the affair when she discovered the FaceTime recording on Sandoval's phone.

'The two videos Leviss has seen depict her in a state of undress and masturbating,' the lawsuit claimed.

'However, given Sandoval's apparent practice of secretly recording their video calls, Leviss has every reason to assume there are additional illicit videos and/or photographs of her that she has not yet seen.'

Sandoval slammed the lawsuit as a 'thinly veiled attempt to extend her fame and to rebrand herself as the victim instead of the other woman' as he requested a dismissal last month.

'These videos were created by Leviss and published by Leviss to Sandoval via a consensual exchange on FaceTime,' he alleged.

'Based on Leviss’ own allegations, Sandoval merely saved private copies of the videos that Leviss filmed and shared with him,' the response added.

Madix previously filed a lawsuit against Sandoval in January over the $2 million home they still share.
