How does Walmart refurbished work? ›

Walmart Restored offers high-quality refurbished items, inspected, tested, and cleaned by participating Sellers or Suppliers. Restored items are offered in four conditions: Premium, Like New, Good, and Fair.

The standard Walmart Return Policy allows returns within 90 days for most items; however, there are exceptions such as electronics which must be returned within 30 days from purchase date.

A refurbished iPad costs the same as a used iPad but has been thoroughly checked with specialist software and had any issues that fall below the testing standard rectified. In addition, a refurbished iPad is thoroughly cleaned, had it IMEI checked and has been fully reset.

You will receive a refurbished device with genuine Apple replacement parts (as needed) that has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected. Refurbished iOS devices will come with new battery and outer shell.

Standard Returns Policy

Refurbished, however, differs from second-hand because Refurbished goods are checked and overhauled. Refurbished goods are thoroughly tested for quality and function and, if necessary, parts are replaced or repaired. Then the device is cleaned and the data is deleted.

Refurbished goods are one way to save money on large purchases. But, if you are unfamiliar with purchasing refurbished items, you may be concerned about the quality. Don't worry, though. Refurbished purchases from reputable companies can deliver experiences just as good as brand-new items.
