What Aircraft Will Be On Display At The 2024 Catarina Aviation Show? (2024)

The Catarina Aviation Show, which is held at São Paulo Catarina International Executive Airport (JHF), is one of the most interesting displays of aircraft in the world. This event is just 30 minutes from São Paulo, but is exclusive to invited guests only. The Catarina Aviation Show will run from June 13 through June 15.

This event features some of the biggest names from the aviation industry, the automotive industry, and the yacht industry. At this year's event, the Catarina Aviation Show expects to exhibit more than 50 brands. Some of these brands include McLaren, BMW, Mercedes, Brazilian Luxury Travel Association, Intermarine, and Inace Superyachts. Throughout these 50 brands, guests can expect to see more than 50 supermachines. Whether it is a sports car, superyacht, or private jet, guests can expect to see some luxurious machines. Some of the unique technology that is expected to be on display is from the aviation industry. Let's take a closer look at some of the aircraft that are set to be on display at this unique event.

Gulfstream

One of the biggest airplane manufacturers in the United States, Gulfstream, will be bringing several aircraft to the Catarina Aviation Show. The Savannah, Georgia-based company will be bringing its flagship aircraft, the Gulfstream G700. This aircraft was recently certified by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), and deliveries of the G700 began earlier this year. The G700 is an ultra-long-range business jet and can reach the furthest range of any purpose-built business jet. The G700 has the following performance specifications:

Gulfstream also mentions it has the most spacious cabin in business aviation, which can fit a maximum of nineteen passengers. The G700 utilizes the Honeywell Primus Epic flight deck for its avionics system. This system also comes with synthetic and enhanced vision systems. It also uses the newer active control side sticks, which are similar to the G500 and G600 series.

Beyond the G700, Gulfstream will also bring two of its other aircraft: the award-winning G600 and the super-midsize G280. The G600 is another ultra-long-range business jet that can reach 6,600 nautical miles (7,595 miles) at Mach 0.90 (690 miles per hour). The G280 is the smallest aircraft produced by Gulfstream but can still reach 3,600 nautical miles (4,142 miles).

Bombardier

Another popular business jet manufacturer, Bombardier, will attend the Catarina Aviation Show. On June 12, prior to the start of the show, Bombardier announced it would unveil two newly branded aircraft.

The first aircraft it will display is the company's flagship aircraft, the Bombardier Global 7500. This ultra-long-range business jet can reach 7,700 nautical miles (8,861 miles) and has set over forty industry speed records. It also features the shortest take-off and landing performance in its class. This aircraft has the following specifications:

The Canadian company will bring another aircraft to the airshow as well. This aircraft is the successful Challenger 3500. The newest variant in the Challenger 300 series includes several interior features from the Global family of aircraft. This aircraft is a super-midsize business jet that can fit up to ten passengers. It also can reach a range of 3,400 nautical miles (3,912 miles).

Embraer

One of Brazil's major aircraft manufacturers will also be in attendance. Embraer is well-known for its production of regional airliners. However, the company will be bringing two of its popular business jets to the Catarina Aviation Show. The first aircraft it is bringing to the show is the Embraer Phenom 300E. This aircraft, which was the most popular business jet in the world in 2023, is a light business jet. It is the fastest light business jet in its class and also has the highest rate of climb. The Phenom 300E has the following specifications.

Embraer is also bringing one of its larger business jets. The Embraer Praetor 600 has the furthest range in its class, which is the super-midsize business jet class, and it can reach 4,018 nautical miles (4,623 miles). This private jet can fit eight to twelve passengers and can reach a top speed of Mach 0.83 (637 miles per hour).

Cirrus Aircraft

One of the most notable general aviation companies, Cirrus, will also be at the Catarina Aviation Show. The company will be bringing its very light jet, the Cirrus Vision SF50 G2+, also known as the Vision Jet.

This aircraft is the world's only single-engine private jet that is currently in production. Although it is a very light business jet, it can still fit up to seven passengers, including the pilot. It is also the first jet that comes with a ballistic parachute, similar to other Cirrus aircraft. Overall, the Cirrus SF50 has the following specifications:

Cirrus Aircraft is also bringing one of its most popular general aviation aircraft, the Cirrus SR22 G7. This single-engine aircraft is considered one of the most luxurious piston-powered aircraft. The aircraft utilizes a glass co*ckpit, a 310-horsepower engine, and can fit up to four passengers. The newest variant of the SR22, the G7, can reach a top speed of 181 knots (209 miles per hour) and a range of 1,169 nautical miles (1,345 miles).
